Elephant And The Sparrow

Once there lived a sparrow in the jungle with his wife and two babies. They built their beautiful house on the top of the tree, so they could enjoy lovely and beautiful views of jungle.

Father sparrow was very hard working. Every morning, he went out in search of food for his family and mother sparrow stayed at home to look after their children and fed them food.

One day, when the mother sparrow and children were alone at home, they heard strange noises and those sounds scared the children. Mother sparrow was worried and father sparrow was also not at home so, she went down from the tree to check from where those noises were coming. When she got down, she saw there was a big elephant moving the tree with his trunk. Mother sparrow was very upset and she requested “Please stop moving the tree.” But the elephant was very cold hearted, he said, ”"It is a great fun for me to disturb others and now I will daily come for this fun you will not stop me! And why should I listen to you? I am stronger, powerful and bigger than you, move away!”

Near to the tree lived an ant. She was watching all that, she said to elephant, “I am a good friend of sparrow and I warn you to stop disturbing them.” When elephant heard this he started laughing loudly and said, ”Look at the ant such a small creature and it is warning me”! This made ant very angry and within a second, she went into the elephant trunk and bit him so hard that he got stumbled and hit his head to the tree and died.

Moral: Don’t be proud and always take care of each other.
