A Brave Village Boy

Once upon a time, there was a brave and friendly boy, named Avyaan. He lived in a village. He had many friends. Every day they used to play cricket in the playground near the jungle.

One day, he and his friends were playing cricket. His best friend, Ahil shot a very long drive and the ball went to jungle. Everyone was afraid to go inside the jungle to bring back the ball. But Avyaan was brave enough to go inside. Everyone warned him about snakes, fox, tiger etc. Avyaan did not listen to anyone and went inside the jungle with a stick. He found the ball. After that, he heard whispering sound. He went towards the place from where the sound was coming. He saw a group of people discussing something in very low voice. He heard these people were planning for a robbery in their village on that night. He thought of how he could prevent that robbery. Then he made some marks on the ground with his stick. He came back with the ball quietly. His friends were happy to get the ball back and started playing. Avyaan didn't tell anyone about those robbers. When all his friends went back to their house, he requested Ahil to stay back with him. Ahil agreed.

Avyaan informed Ahil about the robbers’planning inside the forest. They both went to nearby police station and inform everything. First, police thought they were telling story, but one police inspector believed them and instructed, “Lets us go and see." Avyaan with Ahil guided them to the marked location of forest and indicated the location of the robbers, who were still hiding at that place. Avyaan and Ahil went back home so that the robbers will not recognized them later. Avyaan's mother was worried and asked him, ”Why are you so late today?" Avyaan told the truth. His mother became scared and told not tell anyone. Avyaan went for study. After having dinner, he slept but he was thinking about those people only, then he felt asleep.

The next day morning, he saw in newspaper that some robbers were caught by the police. The local authority and police praised two boys in the news paper who helped them to catch the robbers. They didn't write the names of two boys for security purpose. Avyaan's father was telling " the boys are real hero." Avyaan and his mother smiled quietly.
