Banana and Strawberry

Once upon a time, there was a stray dog whose name was Banana. He was very lonely and wanted to have a good night’s sleep in a nice, cozy house.

He was always hungry, too as he didn’t know where or how to find food. He didn’t really dare to explore because there were people everywhere. They would hit him because he looked ugly to them.

One day, Banana was so hungry that he could stand up any longer. At midnight, he went into a jungle near the roadside and hunted for hares, squirrels and jungle rats.

When Banana went back to his den, he was full but happy. Then, he went to sleep.

Since that day, Banana went hunting again and again. “This is fun,” he said to himself, “but hunting for food is tiring.”

Banana loved to hunt in the jungle now. “Why didn’t I think of this earlier?” he asked himself. “Ah, now I know. I didn’t know there was a jungle nearby, ,”he replied himself, for there was no one to listen to him.

The next week, he decided to get the assistance of a partner to help him hunt for more food to share. So, he went out and searched for another dog.

Soon after, he found himself face-to-face with a female dog that was so pretty he couldn’t resist to do anything but to get to know her.

“Good afternoon, young lady. You look really pretty. Will you be friends with me?” he asked.

“Well, let’s see. My name is Strawberry. What’s your name, young man?”asked Strawberry.

“My name is Banana. Where do you live?”

“I don’t live anywhere. I’m a stray dog and I don’t have a partner,” replied Strawberry.

“Oh, me neither!” exclaimed Banana. “Should we get together?” asked Strawberry. “OH YES! I have a big, roomy den for us to share,” answered Banana. “Then what are you waiting for? LETS GO!” said Strawberry, excited to see Banana’s den. She had not seen one in a long time since she was kicked out of her “little hometown.”

So, they went to Banana’s den. “Welcome to my home! I absolutely LOVE my den. There is even a jungle nearby …” said Banana, pointing towards south.

“Ooh, everything here looks extremely fun!!!” said Strawberry. “Why don’t we check out the den first?” asked Banana. “Sure!” said Strawberry.

So they went into the den. There were scratches that looked like dogs on the wall, and there were lots of nice stuff in there.

“Woa!!! Your den is so cool!!! Can I stay here forever?” asked Strawberry. “Of course! Hey, I was just thinking, should we be partners?” said Banana.

Strawberry thought for a minute. Then she said, “YEAH!!! That will be the best thing in the world!!!” Strawberry practically shouted until a driver actually winded up his window and shot an angry look at them.

So, Banana and Strawberry partnered up and they hunt together in their jungle. They finally lived happily ever after.
