The cool thing about the car is that it comes equipped with mp3 player, AUX port, and USB port so he can connect to my phone and play music! My son is a great TikTok music fan even at this age, and he can listen to songs of his choice while riding around.
I am personally very happy that the car come with an option of parental remote control, so my hyperactive boy could not just drive it away anywhere he liked. But he feels very much in control of the car because it comes with three adjustable speeds, and also because he can step pedal to start the car.
The car has a long lasting 12V battery that can support over 2 hours running time once fully charged. It can support three adjustable speeds without any problem. The only problem I have found so far is that it is a bit difficult to step pedal to start up the car sometimes. I hope as my son gets older and stronger he can do it easily. There is of course parental control and I can start the car for him, but as I said earlier, he likes to be in complete charge.
As a mother of three very active boys I have always been well-versed in the world of toy vehicles – bikes and cars mostly. And I must say, this one is a winner!
From a safety point of view I have no complaints. The car has a sturdy body, and four large resistant wheels built for shock absorption and explosion protection. Looks wise, it is what you would call a rough-and-tough car, so it appeals hugely to boys who like to play rough.
Considering the quality, the price is fine. Looking at the quality of the material used, this car will stay good for years to come.
A problem that may face shorter boys is that the seats are quite high. So if the kid is short his foot may not reach the pedal. I believe the company should advertise it for kids of minimum four years of age, instead of three.
